At the Restaurant

Jack: So, guys, what do you feel like eating tonight?

Lisa: I'm in the mood for some Italian food. How about we go to that new place that just opened up downtown?

Mike: That sounds good to me. I've heard great things about it, too.

Sara: I'm up for Italian, but I hope they have vegetarian options on the menu. I've been trying to cut back on meat.

Jack: No worries, I'm sure they'll have something for you, Sara. Italian food always has plenty of veggie options.

Ordering and Dining

Waiter: Good evening, folks. Welcome to our establishment. Do you know what you'd like to drink tonight?

Sara: I'll have a glass of red wine, please.

Lisa: Same for me, please.

Mike: I think I'll try the local craft beer.

Jack: Just water for me, thanks.

Waiter: Excellent. And have you looked over the menu yet?

Lisa: Yes, we have. Can we get a plate of bruschetta to start, please?

Waiter: Of course. And for your entrees?

Mike: I'm going with the spaghetti carbonara, please.

Lisa: I'll have the chicken piccata.

Sara: I'm going to try the mushroom risotto.

Jack: I'll have the margherita pizza.

Waiter: Great choices! Your food should be out in just a few minutes.

The Bill

Waiter: Can I get anyone a dessert or coffee tonight?

Mike: I'll have an espresso please.

Jack: Same for me, thanks.

Lisa: We're pretty full, so no dessert tonight for us. Can we get the bill, please?

Waiter: Absolutely. Here you go. I'll be back in just a moment to collect it when you're ready.

Sara: Alright, let's split this evenly. Jack, can you put the total on your card and we'll all Venmo you our share?

Jack: Sounds good to me. I'll take care of it.

Lisa: Thanks, Jack! That was a great meal.

Mike: Yeah, thanks for suggesting this place, Lisa.

Sara: I agree. I'll definitely have to come back here again soon.

Jack: No problem, guys. Always happy to catch up and share some delicious food together.
