My Experience of Learning English in Middle School

Introduction:

In this article, I would like to share my experience of learning the English language during my middle school years. English being a widely spoken language has become a necessity for communication between people, businesses, and countries. My journey of learning English wasn't always smooth, but it has taught me the importance of language and how it can open up opportunities for individuals in the future.

Challenges:

One of the biggest challenges that I faced during my English learning journey was the difficulty in understanding the grammar rules. The tenses, modal verbs, and sentence structure was overwhelming, and I often struggled to apply them correctly. Additionally, the pronunciation of words and understanding the different accents was also a challenge for me. However, with the help of my English teacher and consistent practice, I overcame these obstacles.

Strategies:

To overcome the challenges, I developed some strategies to help me learn English better. Firstly, I made it a habit to read in English regularly. This helped me improve my vocabulary and gain a better understanding of sentence structure. Secondly, I started to actively listen to English music and watch English movies to improve my pronunciation and listening skills. Lastly, I joined an English club where I could practice speaking with other students who were also learning English.
